Moyse knows what it’s like to redefine what’s possible and achieve big goals. Yet, she's equally familiar with the inertia of living on autopilot, settling for less, and adhering to self-imposed limits. At 27, pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy and adrift in the currents of societal expectations, Heather experienced a profound awakening: Most people drift through life on autopilot and never discover what they are truly capable of (whether in achievements or happiness and fulfillment).
The turning point? When she was suddenly faced with the challenge of a lifetime: Could she qualify for Canada’s National Bobsled Team and compete in the next Olympic Games just five months later? This pivotal moment – this choice she was confronted with – unearthed her affinity for challenges. Now, Heather is a four-time Olympian and two-time Olympic gold medalist in bobsledding. She is the only Canadian female (and only second Canadian ever) inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame. She has been described as Canada’s best-ever all-around female athlete. Beyond her athletic feats, she has emerged as an author and personal development coach.
With a blend of personal high performance, resilience through career-threatening injuries, and occupational therapy training, Heather offers a unique and effective approach to achieving extraordinary results.
Her words ignite action. Through her book “Redefining ‘Realistic’” and her dynamic keynotes, Heather motivates and empowers individuals and teams – from corporate boardrooms to educational institutions – to rethink their boundaries and unlock their untapped potential.
How do some talented and gifted people never live up to or learn to maximize their potential? Never feel fulfilled? Never achieve more than what is expected of them? Heather Moyse knows. As a three-sport National athlete, four-time Olympian, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and certified occupational therapist, Heather has learned through her experiences in helping herself and others achieve at the highest levels that the qualities it takes to be successful as an athlete are the same qualities it takes to be successful in any occupation or industry – none of which have anything to do with physical strength or stamina. In this presentation, Heather reveals the four essential elements needed to succeed – four critical elements required for her to reach the top of the Olympic podium and for anyone to overcome their obstacles and achieve the highest level of performance, success, and fulfillment.
When you develop a champion mindset, you will be unstoppable!
